Adhyāya 104 — Śikhaṇḍin-puraskāraḥ (Śikhaṇḍin as Vanguard) and Bhīṣma’s Counter-Advance
तमापततन्तं वेगेन शक्राशनिसमझ्युतिम् । द्विधा चिच्छेद संक्रुद्धो द्रोणि: परमकोपन:
tam āpatatantaṁ vegena śakrāśani-samadyutim | dvidhā ciccheda saṁkruddho droṇiḥ paramakopanaḥ ||
ఇంద్రుని వజ్రంలా ప్రకాశిస్తూ వేగంగా దూసుకొస్తున్న ఆ బాణాన్ని చూసి, పరమ కోపిష్ఠుడైన ద్రోణి (అశ్వత్థామ) కోపంతో దానిని రెండు ముక్కలుగా చీల్చేశాడు।
