भीष्मस्य शरवर्षः — Bhīṣma’s Arrow-Storm and Kṛṣṇa’s Impulse to Intervene
अलनम्बुषो रथश्रेष्ठ: श्रुतायुश्न महारथ: । पृष्ठत: सर्वसैन्यानां स्थितौ व्यूहस्य दंशितौ
sañjaya uvāca |
alambūṣo rathaśreṣṭhaḥ śrutāyuś ca mahārathaḥ |
pṛṣṭhataḥ sarvasainyānāṃ sthitau vyūhasya daṃśitau ||
సంజయుడు పలికెను—రథవీరులలో శ్రేష్ఠుడైన అలంబుషుడు మరియు మహారథుడు శ్రుతాయువు—ఇద్దరూ కవచధారులై—సర్వసేనల పృష్ఠభాగమున, వ్యూహమున వెనుక నిలిచిరి.
