अद्यप्रभृति कौन्तेय यजस्व समयो हि ते । मुहूर्तो यज्ञिय: प्राप्तश्नीदयन्तीह याजका:,“कुन्तीनन्दन! तुम आजसे यज्ञ आरम्भ कर दो। उसका समय आ गया है। यज्ञका शुभ मुहूर्त उपस्थित है और याजकगण तुम्हें बुला रहे हैं
vaiśampāyana uvāca |
adya-prabhṛti kaunteya yajasva samayo hi te |
muhūrto yajñiyaḥ prāptaḥ snīdayantīha yājakāḥ ||
వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను—“కౌంతేయా! నేటి నుంచే యజ్ఞాన్ని ప్రారంభించు; నీకు నియమితమైన సమయం వచ్చెను. యజ్ఞానికి శుభ ముహూర్తం సమీపించింది; ఇక్కడ యాజకులు నిన్ను పిలుచుచున్నారు.”
