शकुनेः पुत्रेण सह आश्वमेधाश्वविषयः संघर्षः — Arjuna’s restrained engagement with Śakuni’s son during the horse-escort
प्रोवाचेद॑ वच: काले तदा धर्मभूतां वर: । आमन्त्र्य वदतां श्रेष्ठो भीम॑ प्रहरतां वरम्
vaiśampāyana uvāca |
provācedaṁ vacaḥ kāle tadā dharmabhūtāṁ varaḥ |
āmantrya vadatāṁ śreṣṭho bhīmaṁ praharatāṁ varam, kurunandana |
వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను— ఆ తగిన సమయంలో ధర్మనిష్ఠులలో శ్రేష్ఠుడైన రాజు యుధిష్ఠిరుడు కాలానుకూలమైన మాటలను పలికెను. ఓ కురునందన, ప్రహారకులలో శ్రేష్ఠుడైన భీముని ఆహ్వానించి, వక్తలలో శ్రేష్ఠుడైన యుధిష్ఠిరుడు అతనిని ఉద్దేశించి మాట్లాడటం ప్రారంభించెను.
