संवर्त उवाच सत्यमेतद् भवानाह स मां जानाति सत्रिणम् | कथयस्व तदेतन्मे क्व नु सम्प्रति नारद:,संवर्त बोले--राजन्! तुम ठीक कहते हो, नारदको यह मालूम है कि मैं यज्ञ कराना जानता हूँ और गुप्त वेषमें घूम रहा हूँ। अच्छा यह तो बताओ, इस समय नारद कहाँ हैं?
Saṁvarta uvāca: satyam etad bhavān āha; sa māṁ jānāti satriṇam | kathayasva tad etan me, kva nu samprati Nāradaḥ ||
సంవర్తుడు అన్నాడు—రాజా! నీవు చెప్పింది సత్యమే. నేను యజ్ఞాలు నిర్వహించడంలో నిపుణుడనని, గుప్త వేషంలో సంచరిస్తానని నారదుడికి తెలుసు. అయితే చెప్పు—ఇప్పుడు నారదుడు ఎక్కడ ఉన్నాడు?
