Abhimanyu’s Śrāddha; Vyāsa’s Assurance of the Unborn Heir (अभिमन्योः श्राद्धं तथा गर्भरक्षणोपदेशः)
न हि व्यसनमासाद्य सीदन्ति कृतबुद्धय: । “महामते! अभिमन्यु निश्चय ही स्वर्गलोकमें गया है; अतः आप उसके लिये शोक न कीजिये। पवित्र बुद्धिवाले साधु पुरुष संकटमें पड़नेपर भी इतने खिन्न नहीं होते हैं || २१ $ई || द्रोणकर्णप्रभूतयो येन प्रतिसमासिता:
na hi vyasanam āsādya sīdanti kṛtabuddhayaḥ |
స్థిరమైన, పరిపక్వమైన బుద్ధి గలవారు విపత్తు వచ్చినా కుంగిపోరు. కావున, ఓ మహామతీ, అభిమన్యుని కోసం శోకించకుము; అతడు నిశ్చయంగా స్వర్గలోకానికి చేరెను।
