हतपुत्रा हतबला हतमित्रा मया सह । युयुधानसहायेन पज्च शिष्टास्तु पाण्डवा:,उस समय पाण्डवोंके पुत्र, मित्र और सैनिक सब मारे गये। केवल मेरे और सात्यकिके साथ पाँचों पाण्डव शेष रह गये हैं
hataputrā hatabalā hatamitrā mayā saha | yuyudhānasahāyena pañca śiṣṭāstu pāṇḍavāḥ ||
వారి కుమారులు హతులయ్యారు, బలం విరిగింది, మిత్రులు నశించారు. నాతో పాటు యుయుధానుడు (సాత్యకి) సహాయకుడిగా ఉండగా, ఐదుగురు పాండవులే మిగిలారు.
