Uttaṅka’s Petition for Madayantī’s Divine Earrings (Maṇikuṇḍala) — Agreement, Proof, and Vigilance
सर्वेषामृषिपुत्राणामेष आसीन्मनोरथ: । औत्तड़कीं गुरुवृत्तिं वै प्राप्तुयामेति भारत
sarveṣām ṛṣiputrāṇām eṣa āsīn manorathaḥ | auttaṅkīṁ guruvṛttiṁ vai prāptuyāmeti bhārata bharatanandana ||
భారతకులనందనా! ఆ రోజుల్లో సమస్త ఋషిపుత్రుల హృదయాలలో ఇదే కోరిక ఉండెను—“ఉత్తంకునకు ఉన్నట్లే గురుసేవా-గురుభక్తి అనే ఆచారాన్ని మేము కూడా పొందుదుముగాక.”
