उत्तडुक उवाच गुर्वर्थ क॑ प्रयच्छामि ब्रूहि त्वं द्विजसत्तम । तमुपाहत्य गच्छेयमनुज्ञातस्त्वया विभो
Uttaṅka uvāca: gurvarthaṃ kiṃ prayacchāmi? brūhi tvaṃ dvijasattama. tam upāhṛtya gaccheyam anujñātas tvayā vibho.
ఉత్తంకుడు అన్నాడు—ఓ ద్విజశ్రేష్ఠా, గురుదక్షిణగా నేను మీకు ఏమి సమర్పించాలి? దానిని తెచ్చి మీకు అర్పించి, మీ అనుమతి పొందిన తరువాత, ఓ మహనీయా, నేను గృహానికి వెళ్లవచ్చునా?
