उत्तडुक उवाच भवद्गतेन मनसा भवत्प्रियचिकीर्षया । भवद्धक्तिगतेनेह भवद्धावानुगेन च
uttaḍuka uvāca: bhavad-gatena manasā bhavat-priya-cikīrṣayā | bhavad-bhakti-gateneha bhavad-dhāvānugena ca ||
ఉత్తడుకుడు అన్నాడు— గురుదేవా! నా మనస్సు ఎల్లప్పుడూ మీలోనే నిలిచింది. మీకు ప్రీతికరమైనదే చేయాలనే సంకల్పంతో నేను నిరంతరం మీ సేవలో నిమగ్నుడనై ఉన్నాను; నా సమస్త అనురాగం మీపైనే, మీ భక్తిలో లీనమై నేను లోకసుఖాలను కోరలేదు, వృద్ధాప్యం వచ్చిందన్న సంగతినీ గమనించలేదు. ఇక్కడ నివసిస్తూ వంద సంవత్సరాలు గడిచినా, మీరు నాకు ఇంటికి వెళ్లేందుకు అనుమతి ఇవ్వలేదు.
