पार्थिवश्च सदा गन्धो गन्धश्न बहुधा स्मृत: । तस्य गन्धस्य वक्ष्यामि विस्तरेण बहून्‌ गुणान्‌

Transliteration

pārthivaś ca sadā gandho gandhaś ca bahudhā smṛtaḥ | tasya gandhasya vakṣyāmi vistareṇa bahūn guṇān |

Translation

వాయుదేవుడు పలికెను—భూమిలో గంధమే ఎల్లప్పుడూ దాని ప్రత్యేక గుణము; గంధము అనేక విధములుగా చెప్పబడింది. ఇప్పుడు ఆ గంధమునకు చెందిన అనేక గుణములను నేను విస్తారంగా వివరిస్తాను.
