Transliteration

brahmovāca—hanta vaḥ saṃpravakṣyāmi yan māṃ pṛcchatha sattamāḥ | guruṇā śiṣyam āsādya yad uktaṃ tan nibodhata ||

Translation

బ్రహ్ముడు పలికెను—ఓ శ్రేష్ఠ ఋషులారా! మీరు నన్ను ఏది అడిగారో దానిని ఇప్పుడు నేను వివరించుదును. గురువు యోగ్య శిష్యుని పొందినప్పుడు ఇచ్చే ఉపదేశాన్ని జాగ్రత్తగా వినండి.
