Book 14, Chapter 43

आदिमध्यावसानान्तं सृज्यमानमचेतनम्‌ । न गुणा विदुरात्मानं सृज्यमाना: पुनः पुन:

Vāyudeva uvāca: ādi-madhyāvasānāntaṁ sṛjyamānam acetanaṁ | na guṇā vidur ātmānaṁ sṛjyamānāḥ punaḥ punaḥ ||

వాయుదేవుడు పలికెను— సృష్టింపబడునది యావత్తు అచేతనమే; దానికి ఆది, మధ్య, అంతములు ఉంటాయి. కాని గుణములు పునఃపునః ఉద్భవించినను ఆత్మను తెలుసుకొనలేవు. క్షేత్రజ్ఞుడే ఈ సమస్త అచేతన క్షేత్రమునకు ఉద్భవము, ప్రవృత్తి, లయములను స్పష్టముగా ఎరుగును.
