जरायुजानि भूतानि विकृतान्यपि सत्तमा: । श्रेष्ठ ब्राह्मणो! दो पैरवाले, बहुत पैरवाले एवं टेढ़े-मेढ़े चलनेवाले तथा विकृत रूपवाले प्राणी जरायुज हैं
jarāyujāni bhūtāni vikṛtāny api sattamāḥ | śreṣṭha brāhmaṇo |
వాయువు పలికెను—హే సత్తమా, హే శ్రేష్ఠ బ్రాహ్మణా! గర్భమునుండి పుట్టినవారు (జరాయుజులు) రూపము వికృతమై యున్నా, వారు జరాయుజులుగానే చెప్పబడుదురు. అందులో రెండు కాళ్లవారు, అనేక కాళ్లవారు, వంకరగా లేదా అసమానంగా నడిచేవారు, వికృతాకారులు కూడా చేరుదురు.
