ब्राह्मणा ज्ञानसम्पन्ना यथावच्छुतनिश्चया: । इतरं कृतपुण्यं वा तं विजानन्ति लक्षणै:,जिन्होंने वेद-शास्त्रोंके सिद्धान्तोंका यथावत् अध्ययन किया है, वे ज्ञानसम्पन्न ब्राह्मण लक्षणोंके द्वारा यह जान लेते हैं कि अमुक जीव पुण्यात्मा रहा है और अमुक जीव पापी
Translation
వేదశాస్త్రసిద్ధాంతాలను యథావిధిగా అధ్యయనం చేసి జ్ఞానసంపన్నులైన బ్రాహ్మణులు లక్షణాల ద్వారా ఎవడు పుణ్యకృతుడో, ఎవడు ఇతరథా (పాపకృతుడో) తెలుసుకుంటారు.
