धृतराष्ट्रस्य वनप्रस्थानानुज्ञा | Permission for Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Forest-Retirement

युधिष्ठिरगते राज्ये प्राप्तश्चास्मि सुखं महत्‌ । मन्ये दुर्योधनैश्वर्याद्‌ विशिष्टमिति सत्तमा:

yudhiṣṭhiragate rājye prāptaś cāsmi sukhaṃ mahat | manye duryodhanaiśvaryād viśiṣṭam iti sattamaḥ ||

వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను—యుధిష్ఠిరునికి రాజ్యం వచ్చిన తరువాత నాకు కూడా మహాసుఖం లభించింది. ఓ సత్పురుషశ్రేష్ఠా, ఇది దుర్యోధనుని పూర్వ వైభవం కంటే శ్రేష్ఠమని నేను భావిస్తున్నాను।
