ऑपन-माज बछ। डे षट्त्रिशो5्ध्याय: व्यासजीकी आज्ञासे धृतराष्ट्र आदिका पाण्डवोंको विदा करना और पाण्डवोंका सदलबल हस्तिनापुरमें आना जनमेजय उवाच दृष्टवा पुत्रांस्तथा पौत्रान् सानुबन्धान् जनाधिप: । धृतराष्ट्र: किमकरोद् राजा चैव युधिष्ठिर:,जनमेजयने पूछा--ब्रह्मन! राजा धृतराष्ट्र और युधिष्ठिरने परलोकसे आये हुए पुत्रों, पौत्रों तथा सगे-सम्बन्धियोंके दर्शन करके क्या किया?

Dṛṣṭvā putrāṁs tathā pautrān sānubandhān janādhipaḥ |
Dhṛtarāṣṭraḥ kim akarod rājā caiva Yudhiṣṭhiraḥ ||
జనమేజయుడు పలికెను— హే బ్రాహ్మణా! కుమారులను, మనుమలను, వారి బంధువులు-సహచరులతో కూడి దర్శించిన తరువాత, రాజు ధృతరాష్ట్రుడు ఏమి చేసెను? అలాగే రాజు యుధిష్ఠిరుడు ఏమి చేసెను?
