अश्रमवासिनां विषादः — Lament in Hastināpura after the Elders’ Forest Withdrawal

निषेदुस्ते ततः सर्वे पूजां प्राप्प युधिष्ठिरात्‌ । आसजनेषु च पुण्येषु बर्हिणेषु वरेषु च,युधिष्ठिससे पूजा ग्रहण करके वे सब-के-सब मोरपंखके बने हुए पवित्र एवं श्रेष्ठ आसनोंपर विराजमान हुए

niṣedus te tataḥ sarve pūjāṃ prāpya yudhiṣṭhirāt | āsajaneṣu ca puṇyeṣu barhiṇeṣu vareṣu ca ||

వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను—యుధిష్ఠిరుని పూజను స్వీకరించిన తరువాత, వారు అందరూ పవిత్రమైన, శ్రేష్ఠమైన—మయూరపింఛాలతో అలంకరించిన—ఆసనాలపై కూర్చున్నారు.
