कुन्तीनिवर्तनप्रयत्नः तथा वननिवासप्रारम्भः
Attempt to Dissuade Kuntī; Commencement of Forest Residence
एता यथामुख्यमुदाह्वता वो ब्राह्मण्यभावादजुबुद्धिसत्त्वा: । सर्वा भवद्धि: परिपृच्छयमाना नरेन्द्रपत्न्य: सुविशुद्धसत्त्वा:,ब्राह्मणत्वके प्रभावसे सरल बुद्धि और विशुद्ध अन्तःकरणवाले महर्षियो! आपने सबका परिचय पूछा था; इसलिये मैंने इनमेंसे मुख्य-मुख्य व्यक्तियोंका परिचय दे दिया है। ये सभी राजपत्नियाँ विशुद्ध हृदयवाली हैं
etā yathāmukhyam udāhṛtā vo brāhmaṇyabhāvād ajubuddhisattvāḥ | sarvā bhavadbhiḥ paripṛcchyamānā narendrapatnyaḥ suviśuddhasattvāḥ ||
సంజయుడు అన్నాడు—ఓ మహర్షులారా! బ్రాహ్మణ్యప్రభావంతో సరళబుద్ధి, శుద్ధాంతఃకరణములు గల మీరు వీరి గురించి అడిగినందున, వీరిలో ప్రధానుల పరిచయాన్ని నేను చెప్పాను. ఈ రాజపత్నులందరూ అత్యంత శుద్ధహృదయులు.
