धृतराष्ट्रस्य वनप्रस्थानम् — Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Departure for Forest Life
प्रयाणं घुष्यतां चैव श्वोभूत इति मा चिरम् । क्रियतां पथि चाप्यद्य वेश्मानि विविधानि च,“नगरमें यह घोषणा करा दी जाय कि “कल खबेरे यात्रा की जायगी; इसलिये चलनेवालोंको विलम्ब नहीं करना चाहिये।” मार्गमें हमलोगोंके ठहरनेके लिये आज ही कई तरहके डेरे तैयार कर दिये जायूँ
prayāṇaṃ ghuṣyatāṃ caiva śvobhūta iti mā ciram | kriyatāṃ pathi cāpyadya veśmāni vividhāni ca ||
వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను—నగరమందు వెంటనే ప్రకటన చేయించుడి—“రేపు ఉదయమే ప్రయాణము; కనుక ఎవ్వరూ ఆలస్యం చేయరాదు।” అలాగే మార్గమధ్యమున ఈ రోజే నానావిధ నివాసములు, విశ్రాంతి స్థలములు సిద్ధం చేయబడుగాక।
