Educational Q&A

Adharma-driven leadership that disgraces one’s lineage can devastate the whole world; such agents of ruin are portrayed as deserving severe suffering as a karmic and ethical consequence.

Vaiśaṃpāyana, narrating the aftermath and moral reckoning of the Kurukṣetra catastrophe, condemns those like Duryodhana who caused widespread destruction, framing them as 'kulapāṃsanas'—stains upon their dynasty.
