जगमदग्निर्वाच स्थिरं चापि चल॑ चापि जाने त्वां ज्ञानचक्षुषा | अवश्यं विनयाधान कार्यमद्य मया तव

Transliteration

Jamadagnir uvāca: sthiraṁ cāpi calaṁ cāpi jāne tvāṁ jñānacakṣuṣā | avaśyaṁ vinayādhānaṁ kāryam adya mayā tava ||

Translation

జమదగ్ని అన్నాడు—నీ లక్ష్యం స్థిరమైనదైనా చంచలమైనదైనా, జ్ఞానదృష్టితో నేను నిన్ను గుర్తించాను—నీవే సూర్యుడు. అందుచేత ఈ రోజు నిన్ను శిక్షించి, వినయం మరియు సదాచారంలో నిశ్చయంగా స్థాపిస్తాను.
