Puṣkara-Śapatha Itihāsa (Agastya–Indra Dispute at the Tīrthas) | पुष्कर-शपथ-आख्यानम्
भीष्म उवाच अथ दृष्टवा परिव्राट् स तान् महर्षीन् शुना सह । अभिगम्य यथान्यायं पाणिस्पर्शमभथाचरत्,भीष्मजी कहते हैं--राजन्! कुत्तेसहित आये हुए संन्यासीने जब उन महर्षियोंको देखा, तब उनके पास आकर संन्यासकी मर्यादाकें अनुसार उनका हाथसे स्पर्श किया
bhīṣma uvāca atha dṛṣṭvā parivrāṭ sa tān maharṣīn śunā saha | abhigamya yathānyāyaṃ pāṇisparśam athācarat ||
భీష్ముడు అన్నాడు—రాజా! కుక్కతో కూడి వచ్చిన ఆ పరివ్రాజకుడు ఆ మహర్షులను చూసి, వారి దగ్గరకు వెళ్లి, సన్యాసధర్మ మర్యాద ప్రకారం వారి చేతులను స్పర్శించి నమస్కరించాడు.
