महद्धि भरतश्रेष्ठ ब्राह्मणस्तीर्थमुच्यते । वेलायां न तु कस्यांचिद्‌ गच्छेद्‌ विप्रो हपूजित:

Transliteration

mahaddhi bharataśreṣṭha brāhmaṇas tīrtham ucyate | velāyāṃ na tu kasyāñcid gacched vipro hy apūjitaḥ ||

Translation

ఓ భరతశ్రేష్ఠా, బ్రాహ్మణుడు మహత్తర తీర్థమని చెప్పబడతాడు. అందువల్ల ఏ సమయంలోనూ బ్రాహ్మణుడు పూజా-సత్కారాలు లేకుండా వెళ్లిపోవడానికి అనుమతించకూడదు; అతడు వచ్చినప్పుడు యథోచిత గౌరవంతోనే పంపాలి.
