Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa

Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results

आज ममुर्मुनय: सर्वे देवाश्चाग्निपुरोगमा: । यज्ञांगानि च सर्वाणि वषट्कारश्न मूर्तिमान्‌,प्रभावशाली तात परशुराम! एक समयकी बात है, सबके ईश्वर और महान्‌ देवता भगवान्‌ रुद्र वरुणका स्वरूप धारण करके वरुणके साम्राज्यपर प्रतिष्ठित थे। उस समय उनके यज्ञमें अग्नि आदि सम्पूर्ण देववा और ऋषि पधारे। सम्पूर्ण मूर्तिमान्‌ यज्ञांग, वषट्कार, साकार साम, सहसोरों यजुर्मन्त्र तथा पद और क्रमसे विभूषित ऋग्वेद भी वहाँ उपस्थित हुए

adya mamur munayaḥ sarve devāś cāgnipurogamāḥ | yajñāṅgāni ca sarvāṇi vaṣaṭkāraś ca mūrtimān ||

వసిష్ఠుడు పలికెను—ఈ రోజు సమస్త మునులు నా వద్దకు వచ్చారు; అగ్ని ముందుండగా దేవతలూ వచ్చారు. యజ్ఞానికి చెందిన అన్ని అంగాలూ వచ్చాయి; వషట్కారమూ మూర్తిమంతంగా ప్రత్యక్షమైంది.
