जघान तारक चापि दैत्यमन्यांस्तथासुरान्‌ । त्रिदशेन्द्राज्ञया ब्रहाँल्‍लोकानां हितकाम्यया

Transliteration

jaghāna tārakaṃ cāpi daityam anyāṃs tathāsurān | tridaśendrājñayā brahman lokānāṃ hitakāmyayā ||

Translation

వసిష్ఠుడు పలికెను—ఓ బ్రాహ్మణా! లోకాల హితాన్ని కోరుతూ, త్రిదశేంద్రుడైన ఇంద్రుని ఆజ్ఞచేత ప్రేరితుడై, ఆయన తారక దైత్యుని మరియు ఇతర దైత్యాసురులను సంహరించాడు.
