Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
मरीचिभ्यो मरीचिस्तु मारीच: कश्यपो हाभूत् | अंगारेभ्यो5ज़ितिस्तात वालखिल्या: कुशोच्चयात्
marīcibhyo marīcis tu mārīcaḥ kaśyapo hābhūt | aṅgārebhyo 'ṅgirās tāta vālakhilyāḥ kuśoccayāt ||
అగ్ని కిరణాలైన మరీచుల నుంచే మరిచి ఋషి జన్మించాడు; మరిచి వంశజుడైన కశ్యపుడు ‘మారీచ’ అని ప్రసిద్ధి పొందాడు. తాతా! అంగారాల నుంచే అంగిరా, కుశగడ్డి కుప్ప నుంచే వాలఖిల్య ఋషులు అవతరించారు.
