Gavāṃ Māhātmya — Go-dāna, Yajña-ādhāra, and Goloka
Brahmā–Indra–Surabhi Itihāsa
तं॑ चारुवेषा: सुश्रोण्य:ः सहस्न॑ सुरयोषित: । रमयन्ति नरश्रेष्ठ गोप्रदानरतं नरम्,उस गोदानपरायण श्रेष्ठ मनुष्यको मनोहर वेष और सुन्दर नितम्बवाली सहस्ोरों देवांगनाएँ (अपनी सेवासे) रमण कराती हैं
taṁ cāruveṣāḥ suśroṇyaḥ sahasraśo surayoṣitaḥ | ramayanti naraśreṣṭha gopradānarataṁ naram ||
హే నరశ్రేష్ఠా! గోదానంలో నిమగ్నుడైన ఆ మనిషిని మనోహర వేషధారణతో, సుందర నితంబాలతో ఉన్న వేలాది దేవాంగనులు సేవచేసి ఆనందింపజేస్తారు.
