Praise of cow-gift and ghee-centered recitation

गोप्रदानीति वक्तव्यमर्घ्यवस्त्रवसुप्रद: । ऊर्ध्वास्या भवितव्या च वैष्णवीति च चोदयेत्‌

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | gopradānīti vaktavyam arghyavastravasupradaḥ | ūrdhvāsyā bhavitavyā ca vaiṣṇavīti ca codayet ||

Translation

అతనిని విధిగా ‘గోప్రదాత’ అని, అలాగే ‘అర్ఘ్యము, వస్త్రము, ధనము ప్రసాదించువాడు’ అని ప్రకటించాలి. ఇంకా శుభవిశ్వాసంతో ముఖం పైకెత్తి ఉండమని ప్రోత్సహించి, ‘వైష్ణవీ’—విష్ణుభక్తుడు—అని సంబోధించి ఉత్సాహపరచాలి.
