एतत्‌ सर्वमशेषेण पितामह यथातथम्‌ | वेत्तुमिच्छामि धर्मज्ञ परं कौतूहलं हि मे

etat sarvam aśeṣeṇa pitāmaha yathātatham | vettum icchāmi dharmajña paraṁ kautūhalaṁ hi me ||

యుధిష్ఠిరుడు అన్నాడు—పితామహా, ఇది అంతా ఏమాత్రం మిగలకుండా, యథాతథంగా నిజంగా ఉన్నట్లే నేను తెలుసుకోవాలని కోరుతున్నాను. ధర్మజ్ఞా, నా కుతూహలం అత్యంత గాఢమైనది; సంపూర్ణమైన, ఖచ్చితమైన వివరణను నాకు దయచేయండి.
