गोप्रदान-माहात्म्ये गोलोक-प्रश्नः
Gopradāna-Māhātmya: Inquiry into Goloka
मा चान्यमानयेथास्त्वं सगोत्रं तस्य पार्श्चत:
mā cānyamānayethās tvaṃ sa-gotraṃ tasya pārśvataḥ
భీష్ముడు అన్నాడు—“అతని స్థానంలో మరొకరిని తీసుకురావద్దు. అదే గ్రామంలో అదే గోత్రానికి చెందిన ఇంకొక బ్రాహ్మణుడు ఉంటాడు; అతడు అతని సమీపంలోనే నివసిస్తాడు. గుణాలలో, వేదాధ్యయనంలో, కులగౌరవంలో అతడు శర్మీకునితో సమానుడు; సంతానసంఖ్యలోనూ, సదాచారపాలనలోనూ ఆ బుద్ధిమంతునితో సమానమే. అతనిని ఇక్కడికి తీసుకురావద్దు.”
