अथ प्राह यम: कंचित्‌ पुरुषं कृष्णवाससम्‌ । रक्ताक्षमूर्थ्वरीमाणं काकजंघाक्षिनासिकम्‌

atha prāha yamaḥ kañcit puruṣaṃ kṛṣṇavāsasam | raktākṣam ūrdhvaromāṇaṃ kākajaṅghākṣināsikam ||

అప్పుడు యముడు నల్ల వస్త్రములు ధరించిన ఒక పురుషునితో పలికెను—అతని కన్నులు ఎర్రగా ఉండెను, రోమాలు నిటారుగా నిలిచెను, అతని పిండెలు, కన్నులు, ముక్కు కాకివలె ఉండెను।
