श्रवणे कम्बलं दत्त्वा वस्त्रान्तरितमेव वा । श्वेतेन याति यानेन स्वर्गलोकानसंवृतान्‌

Transliteration

śravaṇe kambalaṃ dattvā vastrāntaritameva vā | śvetena yāti yānena svargalokān asaṃvṛtān ||

Translation

నారదుడు పలికెను—శ్రవణ నక్షత్రంలో చెవులకు రక్షణగా ఉన్ని దుప్పటిని దానమిచ్చినవాడు—నేరుగా ఇచ్చినా, మరొక వస్త్రంలో చుట్టి ఇచ్చినా—శ్వేత విమానమున ప్రయాణించి, నిర్బంధరహితమైన స్వర్గలోకాలను చేరును.
