कथमेष्यति विप्रत्वं कुलं मे भूगुनन्दन । कश्नचासौ भविता बन्धुर्मम कश्चापि सम्मतः

Transliteration

katham eṣyati vipratvaṁ kulaṁ me bhṛgunandana | kaś cana cāsau bhavitā bandhur mama kaś cāpi sammataḥ ||

Translation

కుశికుడు అన్నాడు—ఓ భృగునందనా! నా వంశం ఎలా విప్రత్వాన్ని పొందుతుంది? అలాగే, నా బంధువులలో ఎవడు—ఏ గౌరవనీయ వంశజుడు—మొట్టమొదట బ్రాహ్మణుడవుతాడు?
