Adhyāya 57: Tapas–Dāna Phala
On the Fruits of Austerity and Giving
तत्र दिव्यानभिप्रायान् ददर्श कुशिकस्तदा । पर्वतान् रूप्यसानूंश्व नलिनीश्व सपड़कजा:
tatra divyān abhiprāyān dadarśa kuśikas tadā | parvatān rūpyasānūṁś ca nalinīś ca sapaṅkajāḥ ||
అక్కడ ఆ సమయంలో కుశికుడు దివ్యాభిప్రాయాన్ని సూచించే అద్భుత దృశ్యాలను చూశాడు—వెండి వాలుదారులతో మెరిసే పర్వతాలు, పద్మ-నీలోత్పలాలతో నిండిన సరస్సులు; ఆ స్థలం శుభమై, మనసును ఉన్నత లక్ష్యాల వైపు ఆకర్షించేదిగా కనిపించింది.
