च्यवन उवाच राजन्‌ नाहंम्यहं कोटिं भूयो वापि महाद्युते । सदृशं दीयतां मूल्यं ब्राह्मणैः सह चिन्तय

Transliteration

cyavana uvāca rājann nāhamya-haṁ koṭiṁ bhūyo vāpi mahādyute | sadṛśaṁ dīyatāṁ mūlyaṁ brāhmaṇaiḥ saha cintaya ||

Translation

చ్యవనుడు అన్నాడు—“రాజా, మహాతేజస్వీ! నేను ఒక కోటి ముద్రలకైనా, అంతకన్నా ఎక్కువకైనా అమ్మబడదగినవాడను కాను. నాకు తగిన ప్రతిఫలమే ఇవ్వుము; బ్రాహ్మణులతో కలిసి ఆలోచించుము.”
