कृताशं कृतनिर्देशं कृतभक्तं कृतश्रमम्‌ । भेदैयें व्यपकर्षन्ति ते वै निरयगामिन:

Transliteration

kṛtāśaṃ kṛtanirdeśaṃ kṛtabhaktaṃ kṛtaśramam | bhedair enaṃ vyapakarṣanti te vai nirayagāminaḥ ||

Translation

భీష్ముడు పలికెను—జీతంపై ఉంచిన శ్రమజీవి సేవకునికి ఇవ్వబోతున్నామనే ఆశ చూపి, ఇవ్వవలసిన కాలాన్ని కూడా నిర్ణయించి, ఆ కాలం పూర్తికాకముందే భేదనీతితో అతడిని యజమాని సేవ నుండి తొలగింపజేసేవారు—నిశ్చయంగా నరకగాములు అవుతారు।
