Aṣṭāvakra’s Visit to Kubera: Hospitality, Temptation, and the Ethics of Restraint (अष्टावक्र-वैश्रवणोपाख्यानम्)
इति मत्वा हृदि मतं प्राह मां सुरसत्तम: । मयि सम्भावना यास्या: फलात्कृष्णो भविष्यति
iti matvā hṛdi mataṁ prāha māṁ surasattamaḥ | mayi sambhāvanā yāsyāḥ phalāt kṛṣṇo bhaviṣyati ||
నా హృదయంలో స్థిరమైన ఆ కోరికను గ్రహించిన దేవశ్రేష్ఠుడు (శివుడు) నాతో పలికెను—“మునీ! నాపై నీకు ఉన్న భక్తి-ఆకాంక్ష ఫలముగా నీకు ‘కృష్ణ’ అనే కుమారుడు కలుగును.”
