तामोघवान् ददौ तस्मै स्वयमोघवतीं सुताम् । सुदर्शनाय विदुषे भार्यार्थे देवरूपिणीम्,ओघवती देवकन्याके समान सुन्दरी थी। ओघवानने अपनी उस पुत्रीको विद्वान् सुदर्शनको पत्नी बनानेके लिये दे दिया
tām oghavān dadau tasmai svayam oghavatīṃ sutām | sudarśanāya viduṣe bhāryārthe devarūpiṇīm ||
భీష్ముడు పలికెను—ఓఘవాన్ తన కుమార్తె ఓఘవతీని, దేవకన్య వలె సౌందర్యవతిని, విద్యావంతుడైన సుదర్శనునికి భార్యగా ఇచ్చెను.
