वासुदेव उवाच अनुजानामि भीष्म त्वां वसून् प्राप्तुहि पार्थिव । न ते$स्ति वृजिनं किंचिदिहलोके महाद्युते
vāsudeva uvāca | anujānāmi bhīṣma tvāṁ vasūn prāptum iha pārthiva | na te 'sti vṛjinaṁ kiñcid iha loke mahādyute ||
వాసుదేవుడు అన్నాడు—హే భీష్మా, హే మహాతేజస్వీ రాజా, నేను నీకు అనుమతి ఇస్తున్నాను; నీవు వసుల లోకానికి వెళ్లు. హే మహాద్యుతీ, ఈ లోకంలో నీలో అణుమాత్రమైనా పాపమలినం లేదు.
