प्रतर्दनो दिवोदास: सुदास: कोसलेश्वर: । ऐलो नलश्न राजर्षिमिनुश्चैव प्रजापति:
pratardano divodāsaḥ sudāsaḥ kosaleśvaraḥ | ailo nalaś ca rājarṣir manuś caiva prajāpatiḥ ||
భీష్ముడు పలికెను—“ఇంకా ఈ రాజర్షుల నామములు వినుము: ప్రతర్దనుడు, దివోదాసుడు, కోసలాధిపతి సుదాసుడు, ఐలుడు (పురూరవుడు), రాజర్షి నలుడు, మరియు ప్రజాపతి మనువు. వీరితో పాటు పురాణప్రసిద్ధులైన ఇతర ప్రాచీన పుణ్యాత్మ రాజులు స్మరణీయులు. ఎవడు ప్రతిదినము ఉదయమున లేచి స్నానముచే శుద్ధుడై ప్రాతఃకాలమునూ సాయంకాలమునూ ఈ నామములను పఠించునో, వాడు ధర్మఫలమునకు భాగస్వామి అవుతాడు.”
