उपमन्युरुवाच ब्रह्मप्रोक्तैर्ऋषिप्रोक्तैवेंदवेदाड्रसम्भवै: । सर्वलोकेषु विख्यात॑ स्तुत्यं स्तोष्पयामि नामभि:,उपमन्यु बोले--मैं ब्रह्माजीके कहे हुए, ऋषियोंके बताये हुए तथा वेद-वेदाड़ोंसे प्रकट हुए नामोंद्वारा सर्वलोकविख्यात एवं स्तुतिके योग्य भगवान्की स्तुति करूँगा
Upamanyur uvāca—brahma-proktair ṛṣi-proktair eva ca veda-vedāṅga-sambhavaiḥ | sarva-lokeṣu vikhyātaṁ stutyaṁ stotuṁ yāmi nāmabhiḥ ||
ఉపమన్యుడు పలికెను—బ్రహ్మదేవుడు ఉపదేశించిన, ఋషులు ప్రకటించిన, వేదములు మరియు వేదాంగముల నుండి ఉద్భవించిన నామములతో, సర్వలోకప్రసిద్ధుడై స్తుత్యుడైన ప్రభువును నేను స్తుతించెదను.
