बलवांश्वोपशान्तश्न पुराण: पुण्यचज्चुरी । कुरुकर्ता कुरुवासी कुरुभूतो गुणीषध:

Transliteration

balavān śvopaśāntaś ca purāṇaḥ puṇyacakṣuḥ | īśaḥ kurukartā kuruvāsī kurubhūto guṇauṣadhaḥ ||

Translation

వాయుదేవుడు పలికెను—ఆయన బలవంతుడు, సంపూర్ణ శాంతస్వరూపుడు; ఆదిపురుషుడు; పుణ్యబలముచేత తెలిసివచ్చే ధర్మనేత్రము వంటివాడు; కరుణామయ ప్రభువు—కురుక్షేత్రాన్ని నిర్మించినవాడు, కురుక్షేత్రంలో నివసించువాడు, కురుక్షేత్రమే అయినవాడు; మరియు జ్ఞాన-వైరాగ్యాది గుణాలను పుట్టించే ఔషధంలాంటివాడు.
