उग्रो वंशकरो वंशों वंशनादो हाुनिन्दित: । सर्वाड्ररूपो मायावी सुहदो हुनिलोडनल:
vāyudeva uvāca | ugro vaṁśakaro vaṁśo vaṁśanādo 'ninditaḥ | sarvāṅgarūpo māyāvī suhṛd anilo 'nalaḥ ||
వాయుదేవుడు పలికెను—ఆయన ఉగ్రుడు—ప్రళయకాలంలో భయంకర రూపం ధరించువాడు; వంశప్రవర్తకుడు, వంశస్వరూపుడే; వంశీనాదం చేయువాడు (కృష్ణరూపం). ఆయన అనింద్యుడు, సర్వాంగసంపూర్ణుడు, మాయాశక్తిమంతుడు; కారణరహిత కరుణతో అందరికీ సుహృదుడు; మరియు అనిల (వాయువు) గాను, అనల (అగ్ని) గాను కూడా వ్యాపించి ఉన్నాడు.
