Transliteration

vaiśampāyana uvāca | ity uktavati vākye tu kṛṣṇe devakīnandane | bhīṣmaṃ śāntanavaṃ bhūyaḥ paryapṛcchad yudhiṣṭhiraḥ ||

Translation

వైశంపాయనుడు అన్నాడు—జనమేజయా! దేవకీనందనుడైన శ్రీకృష్ణుడు ఈ విధంగా ఉపదేశ వాక్యాలు పలికిన తరువాత, ధర్మ విషయములో ఆగమ-ప్రమాణముల శ్రేష్ఠత, ధర్మాధర్మ ఫలితాలు, సాధు-అసాధు లక్షణాలు, శిష్టాచార నిర్ణయం మొదలైనవి మరింత స్పష్టంగా తెలుసుకొనుటకు యుధిష్ఠిరుడు శాంతనునందనుడు భీష్ముని మళ్లీ ప్రశ్నించాడు।
