नित्येन ब्रह्मचर्येण लिड्रमस्य यदा स्थितम्‌ । महयत्यस्य लोकक्न प्रियं होतन्महात्मन:

Transliteration

nityena brahmacaryeṇa liṅgam asya yadā sthitam | mahayaty asya lokānāṁ priyaṁ hotaṁ mahātmanāḥ ||

Translation

వాయువు పలికెను—నిత్య బ్రహ్మచర్యంలో స్థిరుడై ప్రతిదినం ఈ శివలింగాన్ని నియమంగా పూజించువాడు మహాత్ముడు శంకరునకు అత్యంత ప్రియుడగును; దానివలన లోకములకు గౌరవమును, ఉద్ధారమును కలుగజేయును.
