न च मे स्तोकमप्यासीद्‌ दुःखमीकष्याकृतं तदा । तथा स राजमार्गेण महता निर्ययौ बहि:,उस समय मेरे मनमें थोड़ा-सा भी ईर्ष्याजनित दुःख नहीं हुआ। इसी अवस्थामें वे महलसे बाहर आकर विशाल राजमार्गसे चलने लगे

Transliteration

na ca me stokam apy āsīd duḥkham īkṣyākṛtaṃ tadā | tathā sa rājamārgeṇa mahatā niryayau bahiḥ ||

Translation

ఆ సమయంలో ఈర్ష్య వల్ల పుట్టిన స్వల్పమైన దుఃఖమూ నా మనసులో కలగలేదు. ఆపై అతడు మహాలయం నుంచి బయటికి వచ్చి విశాలమైన రాజమార్గం వెంట సాగిపోయాడు।
