यदा धर्मों ग्लाति वंशे सुराणां तदा कृष्णो जायते मानुषेषु । धर्मे स्थित्वा स तु वै भावितात्मा परांक्ष लोकानपरांश्ष पाति
yadā dharmo glāti vaṁśe surāṇāṁ tadā kṛṣṇo jāyate mānuṣeṣu | dharme sthitvā sa tu vai bhāvitātmā parāṁś ca lokān aparāṁś ca pāti ||
దేవవంశాలలో ధర్మం క్షీణించసాగినప్పుడు శ్రీకృష్ణుడు మనుష్యులలో జన్మిస్తాడు. ధర్మంలో స్థిరుడై, శుద్ధమై భావితమైన అంతఃకరణంతో ఆయన స్వయంగా ధర్మాన్ని ఆచరించి దానిని స్థాపించి, పరలోకములను మరియు అపరలోకములను రక్షిస్తాడు.
