Shloka 8
तच्छुत्वा प्रेषितो दूतो ब्राह्मणेभ्यो धनी कपै: । सच तान् ब्राह्मणानाह धनी कपवचो यथा,इसका समाचार सुनकर कपोंने ब्राह्मणोंक पास अपना धनी नामक दूत भेजा, उसने उन ब्राह्मणोंसे कपोंका संदेश इस प्रकार कहा--
Tac chrutvā preṣito dūto brāhmaṇebhyo dhanī kapaiḥ | sa ca tān brāhmaṇān āha kapavaco yathā ||
ఆ వార్త విని కపులు ‘ధనీ’ అనే దూతను బ్రాహ్మణుల వద్దకు పంపిరి. అతడు ఆ బ్రాహ్మణుల సమీపమునకు వెళ్లి కపుల సందేశమును యథాతథంగా వినిపించెను.
