अपना छा | अ:-फक्राछ सप्तपञ्चाशर्दाधिकशततमोब् ध्याय: कप नामक दानवोंके द्वारा स्वर्गलोकपर अधिकार जमा लेनेपर ब्राह्म॒णोंका कपोंको भस्म कर देना

bhīṣma uvāca

tṛṣṇīm āsīd arjunas tu pavanastv abravīt punaḥ |

śṛṇu me brāhmaṇeṣv eva mukhyaṃ karma janādhipa ||

భీష్ముడు పలికెను— “యుధిష్ఠిరా! అంత జరిగినా కార్తవీర్య అర్జునుడు మౌనంగానే నిలిచెను. అప్పుడు వాయుదేవుడు మరల పలికెను— ‘నరాధిపా! బ్రాహ్మణులకు ప్రత్యేకమైన ప్రధాన ధర్మకర్తవ్యములు, శ్రేష్ఠ ఆదర్శకర్మములు నా నుండి వినుము।’”
